Bulk eSIM for Groups: School Trips, Weddings and Agencies

Buying many travel eSIMs for a school trip, wedding party or tour group? Use guest checkout for a few plans, or WhatsApp from a destination page for a bulk discount on larger quantities.

Updated: 9 September, 2026 RoameSIM Team eSIM Guides

TL;DR: Small groups can buy as guests in the browser, no app. Larger quantities go through WhatsApp from the destination page. Ask for a bulk discount, tell us how many plans you need, and we reply with a price. Each traveller gets their own QR. Install on Wi-Fi before the trip.

Who this is for

  • School and university trips - one destination, many unlocked phones, a teacher collecting orders.
  • Weddings and family events - guests flying in from different cities who still need the same country plan.
  • Tour agencies and sports clubs - a repeating destination, invoices, and a single WhatsApp thread instead of 40 separate checkouts.

RoameSIM is a web shop. There is no group login. Checkout is guest checkout. Bulk pricing is a conversation, not a hidden coupon on the site.

Small group: pay on the site

Two to a handful of people: open the country page, pick the same plan, complete guest checkout per person (or per email). Each QR lands in that inbox. No account required.

Use one destination for the whole group when you can. Mixing a Europe regional plan with a single-country plan only makes support harder at the airport.

Larger quantity: WhatsApp from the country page

  1. Open the destination, for example Europe, Italy, United States, or Turkey.
  2. Tap Get bulk discount. WhatsApp opens with: “Hi RoameSIM, I want a bulk discount for [country] eSIM plans. Quantity:”
  3. Add the number of plans, preferred GB and days, and travel dates.
  4. We reply with pricing. Do not invent a percentage; the quote depends on destination and volume.

The green banner sits on every country page. You can also email info@roamesim.io if WhatsApp is blocked on a work phone.

How to brief the group

  1. Confirm every phone is unlocked and eSIM-capable. Point people to the checker on the plan page or the phone guide.
  2. Send each person their own QR email. Do not print one code for the coach.
  3. Install on Wi-Fi at home or at the hotel the night before. Use the Installation Assistant if someone gets stuck.
  4. Keep the travel line off until arrival. Then set it for mobile data and turn roaming on for that line only.
  5. On the phone the line is named Travel-Connect, not RoameSIM.

School trips

One teacher or parent should own the WhatsApp thread. Collect a list of emails if each student must receive their own QR. Say if minors need the QR sent to a parent inbox instead. Data-only plans do not replace a phone number for emergencies; keep the home SIM in the device.

Weddings

Guests often arrive from different countries. Buy the event country plan (or a Europe regional plan if they will also hop borders). Share the destination link, not a screenshot of your personal QR. If you are organising from Turkey, RoameSIM checkout still opens: buy Europe or USA eSIMs from Turkey.

Agencies

Send destination, headcount, and whether you need one invoice or per-guest emails. Repeat groups can reuse the same WhatsApp chat. We do not list a public wholesale portal; pricing is quoted on that thread.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a bulk discount on RoameSIM?

Open the destination page (for example Europe or Turkey) and tap Get bulk discount. WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message. Add the quantity. We reply with pricing.

Can I just check out several times as a guest?

Yes for a small group. Buy the same plan more than once, or raise quantity at checkout where the page allows it. Each traveller should receive their own QR.

Do we all share one QR code?

No. One QR is one phone. Sharing it burns the profile. Send each person their own delivery email.

Do group plans include a phone number?

No. Plans are data-only. Everyone keeps their home SIM for WhatsApp, calls and bank codes.

What should I send on WhatsApp?

Destination, number of eSIMs, data size or trip length, and travel dates. Example: 18 students, Italy, 10 GB / 15 days, 3–18 April.
