TL;DR: You do not need a RoameSIM app or a password. Choose a plan, pay on the website, get a QR by email, install it in phone Settings. Track the order from the link in that email. This is useful when you cannot download a travel-eSIM app or when a brand site will not load.
Why skip the app
Many travel eSIM brands want you to install their app, create a login, and keep the profile inside that app. That works when the App Store, Play Store, and their servers all open. It fails when one of those does not.
RoameSIM sells in the browser. Checkout is Stripe on roamesim.io. Delivery is email. Installation uses the phone’s own eSIM tools, not a third-party app. After that, the line on the device is named Travel-Connect.
How guest checkout works
- Open a destination such as Europe, United States, or Turkey.
- Pick data and validity. Confirm the phone is unlocked and eSIM-capable on the plan page.
- Enter your name and the email that should receive the QR. Pay by card.
- Open the delivery email on Wi-Fi. Scan the QR, or enter SM-DP+ and the activation code by hand if the camera fails.
- Leave the travel line off until you arrive. Then set it for mobile data and turn data roaming on for that line only.
No account, no newsletter requirement, no app download. Keep the tracking link from the email. That is your order page if you need the QR again.
Install help without another download
The Installation Assistant lives on the same website (purple button, bottom right). It walks iPhone, Samsung, Pixel and other Android one step at a time. Written guides: iPhone and Android.
When this is the better path
- You are on a work phone that blocks unknown apps.
- You are buying from a network that will not open another eSIM store or its app.
- You want the QR in your inbox, not locked behind a login you will forget at the airport.
- A family member is buying for you and only has an email address to share.
- A school, wedding or agency needs many plans: see bulk eSIM for groups.
If you are in Turkey and flying to Europe or the US, use buy a Europe or USA eSIM from Turkey. Install on Wi-Fi before you fly. The Europe or USA plan does not give data inside Turkey.
What guest checkout is not
It is not a phone number. Plans are data-only. Keep your home SIM for calls, SMS and bank codes. It is not an unlimited promise without reading the card: some plans cap high-speed data per day.
